RULES FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN POSTER

• Create a graphic design poster based on “A Tatou Korero – Our Stories, Our Voices”
• Posters can be designed on Photo shop, Publisher or other graphic design programmes.
• Poster to be A4 or A3 size.
• Please supply 1 hard copy and one electronic copy of each poster entry

What is a graphic design poster?

A poster is visual presentation that conveys a message using text and or designs/photography.

How to make a graphic design poster?

• Think about the message you want to convey.
• Brainstorm ideas/ sketches
• Don't make it too cluttered. Keeping it simple is sometimes more effective.
• Use basic design principles of balance, harmony, proportion.
